![]() ![]() NONE of the updates released on Steam fixed ANY of these issues and the last update (Which was a year after the previous update) was mainly implemented to add Chinese language support so they could sell the games to China to make more cash. One issue that both remasters have is the sound completely craps itself if Windows has the audio set higher than 24bit 48,000hz (and I prefer to have my audio set to 24bit 96,000Hz 5.1) so I have to change my windows sound settings every time I play them. It could crash in a battle, opening a door, picking up an item, searching something or someone and in some cases taking a step forward! In short, an unplayable Crash Simulator! According to Windows Event Viewer, all the crashes were "Memory Access Violation (0xc00000005)" crashes. On Steam, Bioshock 1 Remastered didn't crash on me but I got a lot of glitches (Mainly physics glitches and weird red and purple bits in the water in an area of the Fontain's Fishery level).īioshock 2 Remastered is a far worse story! Crash after crash after crash. I am also wondering if the GOG versions aren't the trainwrecks that are the Steam Versions.
